Day #10 of Sabres in focus - Ville Leino

As with Cody Hodgson, I was happy when I found out the Sabres acquired Ville Leino. The former Red Wing and Flyer's efforts had me thrilled that he was a Sabre.

His first season didn't exactly go as planned as he put up 25 points (8 G, 17 A) in 71 games.

During the 2010 postseason with Philadelphia, Leino put up 21 points (7 G, 14 A) in 19 games. That is the Ville Leino that the Sabres need to find.

I'm not expecting monster number from him, but 50-60 points would be a pretty big help for a team that needs scoring.

Hard work pays off:

I believe he will have a better season than last year, but still not what Buffalo were hoping for after signing him.

My prediction: 17 G, 25 A, 42 PTS

Based on the polls from yesterday's post, readers have predicted Miller's totals for this season.
My prediction: .921 save percentage, 2.39 goals against average, 5 shutouts
Readers' prediction: .916 save percentage, 2.35 goals against average
