Probably nothing. One of the posters who has had quite a bit of accuracy in the past has basically said the Sabres front office is quiet. So likely nothing is going on right now.

I am not ready to call Leino a bust after one season where he bounced around from wing to center on four different lines. He's not Scott Gomez yet by any means. I think he'll bounce back this season.

he went through some pretty hefty off-season changes as well...

shouldn't have surprised anyone that it would take him time to get acclimated...


that being said, i expected a better finish from him over the last quarter season or so

Just read that myself, thats why I always have the draft the week of the season opener. Its siuations like this that id always take a late rounder flyer on a guy like ronnie brown. Thats how I ended up with Arian Foster. Id be intersted in grabbing both Tampa running backs.

Maybe if they actually used him correctly and put him in the top 6. He is not a 3rd or 4th line player. He is a complimentary winger tha should be playing with skilled guys. I think he had good chemistry with Pomminville and hodgson last year. I would like to see him with one or both of them this year. Otherwise he is a waste

Last season after he signed and getting thrown in the mix of misfits we had .
He should feel more stable and be able to contribute like expected. He has talent and we should see lots of it this season

I dont see adam either and think this line relaly takes away from pommer. In my mind I always have pommer shooting and Vanek crashing the net.
