Day #8 of Sabres in focus - Marcus Foligno

I talked about him a bit before, but there is certainly a lot of potential for #82. This kid brings excitement to the lineup. I cannot wait to see this kid play a full season, which is hopefully this year.

While it's not an automatic lock, I think Foligno will work his way into grabbing a spot on the roster. I don't see that as being a problem for him.

"There's a lot of good players here and there's a lot of guys that can fill that left wing role. It's a competition so you've got to act like it," Foligno remarked. "My objective is to make the team and to stick and to play a full year next year. I'll do whatever it takes, that's for sure. I've had a taste of it and I really want to be here next year." - WGR550

“I think the ref was watching how many times I got punched in the face,” Foligno said, “and he was in awe.” -Marcus Foligno

Assuming Foligno does play a full season, I'm predicting that he will put up 18 G, 30 A, 48 PTS.

Based on the polls from yesterday's post, readers have predicted Hodgson's offensive totals for this season.
My prediction: 24 G, 25 A, 49 PTS
Readers' prediction: 23 G, 29 A, 52 PTS
