This kid has no where to go but up. Great lineage. You know his dad didn't let him coast a single minute as a kid. Allthough he needs to "make the team" they would be crazy to not start the season with him/Ennis & Staff together.

Holy smokes, he beat the lips off of Frattin. Big up to Matty for taking on a guy twice his size, though.

He coasted some before he got drafted. Otherwise, he would have been drafted in the first round.

Even his brother Nick stated that Marcus decided to really (re) commit himself towards the end of his junior career.

Yeah he probably should of thought twice about fighting Foligno. He did show some heart though, more then I can say about a lot of players

Frattin's a tough bastard. Sort of a thorn in the side kind of guy. Not an out and out tough guy, but he can score too.

That Gunnarson hit was the highlight of the year for me. I was at that game. Saw it happen right in front of me. Right after the puck drop pretty much. The intensity he played with in that game was just ridiculous. Can't wait to see more from him this year.

Watching those Foligno highlights in Kevin's blog really made my day. The enthusiasm with which he plays is awesome. I do not expect Foligno to come close to matching his scoring pace. But I do believe he can add 15 goals and 30some points. And for me that is enough.

Unless he comes in to camp out of shape I can't see him not being on the opening night roster. My only worry is whether or not Lindy can resist the temptation of trying to spread the success to other lines by splitting up him Ennis, and Staff.
