Corey Perry, who signed a 2-year pact with the Bolts after losing the final against them 2 seasons in a row, became the first player in history to lose 3 consecutive cup finals with 3 different teams. - Karine Hains

Oh and the prophecy finally fulfilled itself.
The goals came. Lehkonen is a champion. Sadly it's with another team. |

Yeah, everyone always knew how good/useful a player he was.
We can only hope now that Barron and that 2nd makes it all worth it. I'm confident it will.

won't know for years...until Barron matures and the Habs pick or trade that 2024 2nd round pick. Still far away |

I like what I saw from Barron from the short sample we had. It's just a shame he couldn't play in the Calder Cup playoffs with the Rocket. |

even if they don't pan out as anticipated it was the right move to make, it isn't like Lehkonen would have been a critical part of the rebuild, although his work ethic could definitely have been a good example to follow for the kids coming up. |

Well Kent Hughes had the right attitude not trading him unless an offer blew him away.
Sounds like he has the same position with Anderson.

I'd be curious to know what kind of offers he's been getting, and if it has anything to do with moving up the draft, which has been brought up a whole lot without any specific trade rumors concerning this. |
