And the revival run at Panini takes it's next step...

Back from the dead following an absence of over a decade, Panini is bringing back a staple of the 1990's: Pinnacle Hockey. But make no mistake about it: based on preliminary looks and information the company is providing this is not a complete retread of where the product left off, but rather an innovative twist on a familiar name.

Yes, some old favourites will be back in the form of Artist's Proofs (one per box) and Museum Collection parallels (four per box). At the same time, the introduction of Ice Breakers rookie cards (inserted four per box; a 50 card lineup, 20 of which will have autographed parallels), Tough Times inserts (one per box; a 70's themed tough guy set) annd a combined four autographs and/or memorabilia cards under a minimum of four subsets at present (Pinnacle Threads, City Lights, Pinnacle Penmanship, Rookie Team Pinnacle Signatures) make this a very different ball of wax than we were used to in our younger days!

Not many more details are available right now, aside from a drop date of March 16, but I'll bring additional info as it comes. For now, enjoy a peek at some of what's coming your way this March!
