It’s only one sample size, but we now Mike Grier is a GM that gets as much as he can get and can be crafty. Talking to multiple sources over the weekend, they feel he is aware he will NEVER get as much as he can get right now from Edmonton. A third party, maybe even a fourth will be needed. But that wont stop this.

What also wont stop is the “playing hardy to get” by both sides…expect to hear a lot of rumors regarding Edmonton looking into other defensemen…etc…
