More on Yakupov and Montreal. Boston/Caps also interested. Isles/Eberle?

Quick hit here.

I had yet another source confirm to me this morning that the Montréal Canadiens are aggressively pursuing Yakupov. This source believes Emelin is in the deal, along with "two other players of less significance."

"However, "the source continued, "the Bruins and Capitals have also made serious inquiries with Edmonton."

And I really don't believe that there are only three teams involved. In the past I know the Flyers and the Islanders have contacted Edmonton. Although the Islanders appear more interested in Jordan Eberle.

All of this is led me to believe the Edmonton Oilers are far from done dealing. The more people I call about Edmonton and the more people tell me stories of the many moves they have tried to make and are still trying to make this summer.

"To say Edmonton is being aggressive would be an understatement," One NHL executive texted me.

Much more to come...
