The New York Islanders have made some minor moves over the last couple of days.

Yesterday, forward Josh Ho-Sang was loaned to a team in Sweden’s highest professional league, the SHL.

The details of contracts for goaltender Cory Schneider and forward Dmytro Timashov have also been confirmed.

Cory Schneider’s contract is one year and carries an AAV of just $700,000. Dmytro Timashov’s deal is also worth the league minimum, though he’ll still be a restricted free agent when it expires. Schneider is currently a member of the Islanders’ roster, while Timashov recently cleared waivers and was sent down.

Other moves worth noting: both Thomas Hickey and Oliver Wahlstrom have been assigned to the team’s taxi squad. Meanwhile, goaltender Jakub Skarek has been sent down from the taxi squad, as a result of Schneider taking a place on the roster.
