How to keep watching the Avs

Alas it has become that the Avs are locked into a lottery pick and the last ten games could be rough. That doesn't mean the games are unwatchable. Here are some ways to keep your attention. Tried to get to ten but only could come up with five. Any suggestions?

1. P.A Parenteau/Matt Duchene- Even during the worst times, watching P.A and and Duchene has been worth it. They exhibit skill, work ethic and have combined for the prettiest plays of the year.

2. Sacco Cam- watch for expression changes during the game as coach Joe Sacco is living out what could be the last ten games of his coaching career.

3. Harlem Shake until first goal- This works great with friends. Get a group together and do the Harlem Shake until the first goal which, unless it's Nashville, will not take long.

4. Avalanche drinking game- This is where it gets fun (no it doesn't, if you did this, you would die)

Every goal against drink
Powerplay goal? Drink twice.
Shorthanded goal? Shotgun a beer
Every time the camera pans to Sacco and he's scowling, drink
Every turnover by a defenseman, take a shot
Every loss, shotgun a beer.
Boos=booze. At home, when the crowd boos, drink.

5. Avs vs. Flames or Who wants the first pick more- The Avs have 29 points, the Flames have 30. This is the last game between the two with the winner probably getting the best odds to win the draft lottery. Given the Flames need a center (MacKinnon) and the Avs need a defenseman (Jones) more, this is probably moot but it could be fun watching the two worst teams in the league in a "who can fail harder" contest.
