The past four years here at Hockeybuzz have been fun and rewarding. I have loved writing on this platform, covering the Avalanche, NHL and all the silly rumors the come up at the trade deadline and draft. Good times, good times.

Thank you to Eklund for giving me this opportunity, for all the support you have given me. I will always have fond memories of this site and the opportunity it granted me.

When I started writing, it was to build a bigger Avalanche fan base and as I look at the number of Avs fans who post regularly on the website, I could not be happier with the Avs community on the site.

Hockeybuzz is the best online hockey community and I have been honored to be a blogger for this community. No one challenged me more than this community, nor did they hesitate to call me out on something.

As I move forward in life, I realize that I will not have the time to blog here as often as I should, as often as you would expect me to. It is hard to leave but at the same point, it is time. I will still be around to read and participate in the thriving hockey discussion. I will also continue on Twitter, under the name Avalangelist.

A special thank you to all of posters who have frequented the blog, to my fellow bloggers and to all of my followers on Twitter for your lively commentary throughout the hockey season.

I will be continuing on, writing for my new domain Avalanche Avenues with a cast of Avs contributors but it will never be the same as writing for Hockeybuzz. Thank you once again, to everyone. I look forward to seeing what the new Avs blogger does, as well as what the Avs do heading into next year.
