The Carolina Hurricanes have signed defenseman Chase Priskie to an entry-level contract. The contract will be a shortened two-year ELC.

Priskie, 23, is a right-handed defenseman who’s spent the last four years at Quinnipiac University and the last two as captain. This past season, Priskie had 17 goals and 39 points in 36 games. He was originally drafted by Washington in the sixth round of the 2016 NHL Draft and is likely to spend next year with the Charlotte Checkers.
