I get a lot of emails here once we get down to four teams wanting the rumors to start and they will be starting very shortly, unfortunately, some of the rumors involved players still playing right now. I try not to write those, but I might end up doing that anyway, because I’m kind of stuck right now because so much is happening on that front….
If you were a fan of a certain team, then is obvious who you’re rooting for right now, but in Florida Carolina and Dallas we have three of the least popular teams outside their markets in the NHL…. Edmonton, of course, has fans everywhere because of McDavid. But the Oilers also have their haters because of McDavid. Which I really don’t understand, but I get it if he’s beating your team up quite a bit…. There’s nothing personal on Connor McDavid. I think everybody likes Connor McDavid.
So, who are you pulling for right now?
Personally, I’m in the Florida Panthers world. I have really good friends with the team and that’s how I usually decide because as you cover this score for 20 years, you become more fans of people than of teams.. for Florida I’ve got some really strong friends. I have some guys that I’m close to her playing on the three other teams as well, but I love the way Florida plays and I think they might be one of the best teams we’ve seen in the last 25 years….
