Old becomes new again as I take another kick at the can with the “Who Am I…?… series. For those unfamiliar with this post, here’s the nuts and bolts of this little monster: On a weekly basis I throw together what I hope are a “just tricky enough… set of clues about a member of the hockey community, be they past or present. Using said clues, you, the reader, must figure out who it is I am referring to and post the answer in the comment section. To discourage random guessing of names, the “winner… will be the person who both posts the correct name AND can explain how the clues link to that individual. I encourage brief, point form, answers in this respect; No need for essays! You will have noted that I have placed “winner… in quotes. Hopefully you have appropriately interpreted this as intended: you ain’t getting squat aside from personal satisfaction and bragging rights! The latter seems to hold up quite well around these parts!
So without further adieu, lets get this show on the road! Here are this weeks clues (tear it up peeps!!!):
1. I entered the NHL as a center. 2. I once finished second in the NHL regular season scoring race. 3. I was switched from a forward to a defenseman, earning both first and second team all star nods at that position. 4. I won back to back Stanley Cups. 5. I won the Hart Trophy.
