Welcome back for another attempt to stump you hockey geeks with edition 38 of “Who Am I?”!!! Before I take another run, let’s take a peek at the solution for edition 37:

1. I played for three NHL teams, but played 10 times as many seasons for one team than I did the other two combined. (NY Islanders from the '87-'88 to '96-'97 seasons, and the Tampa Bay Lightning and Montreal Canadiens for the '97-'98 season)

2. I wasn't drafted into the NHL. (Signed as a free agent by the Islanders in 1987)

3. I played for one Original Six team. (Montreal)

4. I was drafted during my NHL career. (Claimed by Tampa Bay from the Islanders in the 1997 waiver draft)

5. I am the all time franchise leader in "statistic x" for one of the teams I played for. (Penalty minutes with 1879 for the Islanders).

Who Am I? I’m……….Mick Vukota!!!

I’m happy to say that only four people got this one, with another hundred Tim Kerr responses thrown in for good measure (he ALMOST fits)! I chalk that up as a victory for me! Of the four correct guesses, the card winner is…Robert Mattern! Shoot me your address bud and the card is on its way…

But enough of soaking in that stumper, and onto edition 38!!! Just to reinforce though, the goal of this is not just to identify the person, but also to tell me how the clues fit them. So you want to win the prize, you’ve got to give that info! So here are the clues for this weeks personality. Send me the correct response (see my email address below) with the supporting info by midnight and you’ll be eligible for the draw! This one is tricky and outide the box, so correct answers will deserve kudos! Here we go:

1. I am a Memorial Cup champion.

2. I am a league MVP.

3. I am a four time all star.

4. I was drafted at one position but now play at another.

5. My father, also a junior hockey player, wasn't drafted into the NHL but did attend a training camp as a player.

Have at it folks! Best of luck!
