Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't the case made last year that Stan Bowman may have waited to long to trade Nick Leddy? |

Funny some of the Chicago media down there believe Bowman will prevail durring the FA period getting value he wants for Sharp. I'm with you on this, grains of sand through the hour glass. |

Senators trade Eric Gryba to Oilers for 107th overall and Travis Ewanyk.

Anyone know who has 2 2nd rounds next year? Preferably a team with a high chance of totally bombing the season? |

Didn't see the new blog so reposting late comment in last blog:
With San Jose trading the rights to Niemi, does this open the door for a Crawford deal to the Sharks? I would think that the CA teams would be on his list of desirable teams. (Especially now with nothing happening on Sharp.) |

No third
2 fourth
1 fifth

I give the team credit for winning three in six, but he's far too hesitant to roll the dice sometimes. At least, that's how it seems to me from space.
It certainly helps that he inherited the wonder twins, and Dale, for some of his bonehead moves, did leave the pantry pretty well stocked.
The Vermette deal turned out well, but what if we didn't get past Nashville, we'd be screaming for his head. The Kimmo deal was a huge overpay, obviously. If he's giving up 2 picks for a guy who almost died, and is ready to retire, what do we expect him to do with healthy bodies?
Not sure if it's too many cooks making the stew, but I'm less hopeful of a fair return than I was before. |

I Said all along if Stan wanted a 1st for Sharp it would most likely be next year pick. This years draft was to hyped up . Teams will not get the FA they want and Sharp Bickell and Verstieg will get moved .. That should set HAWKS up for the next year . |

That trade was a head-scratcher for me. If Sharks/Hawks were interested in a trade, wouldn't they have acquired Niemi? Still prefer to move Sharp than CC. |

I never expected a huge return for any of them. Looking for space right now, and quite frankly, probably burnt out a little from checking this blog the past 3 days.

Pretty sure Buffalo had at least 2 or 3 second rounders next year but they may have traded some. I lost track. Either way I assume you're referring to teams with multiple 2nds that could be a destination for Sharp which in all likelihood Buffalo is not. |

Ryan Shea
Average build defenseman with good vision and offensive savvy. Possesses terrific four-way mobility and has greta tools to continue to hone his defensive side. Has strong footwork and lateral movement that signals continued improvement in his gap control. He is difficult to beat one on one. Handles the puck well and loves to activate through his own rushes and passes to become the fourth attacker. Long term project with good upside. He has committed to Northeastern University. |

Wrong there Leafyboy. Big one was Hossa signing here. So instead of coming here to whine and start trouble why don't you go figure out how your team is going to compete for the playoffs. |

You have no proof of what goes on between NHL Gms. No proof of rumors.

You had him in the 6th. Hawks seem to be lagging 2 rounds behind you. Hope in this case, they are better than you |
