As per Red Wing beatwriter Ansar Khan of MLive.com, Jimmy Howard has re-injured his groin.

As a result, Ty Conklin has been recalled from Grand Rapids on an emergency basis. Because of this, Conklin does not need to clear re-entry waivers.
