On this, the opening night of the 2007-08 National Hockey League season, I just wanted to wish everyone's team best of luck this year.

Yes, there are going to be days/nights where we insult each other's teams, bring up bad memories regarding a foe's team and we may even get into a shouting match over whose team is better but let's just remember one thing: We are all hockey fans and we do the things that we do because we love this great game.

I'd also like to thank our fearless leader, Eklund, for giving us this place, as I believe it truly is the best hockey site out there.

Thanks again folks and I look forward to a great 2007-08 season with you all.
