Michael Stuart: Lightning Hire Randorf to Fill Peckham's Shoes

I am seeing mixed reviews on this hire. Since he has been a national announcer I wonder if he will add a little homerism to Bolts now that they are his team. For the local play by play a little bit is fine, Jack Edwards amount is too much.

The other issue though is Fox Sports Sun is currently only on Spectrum here in Tampa due to Sinclair group the new owner pulling all the regional networks across the USA. I would say roughly only 40 percent of the area can actually get the Lightning games right now.

His contract was not usually renewed with no specific reason ever given. His voice is ok. Not really a screamer so that’s a plus.

Seriously. I hate that screaming poop. I still haven't forgiven Dave "Banshee" Miskin for ruining the 2004 Cup celebration with his over the top hysterical girl-screaming.

Not a screamer is a plus. Can't stand Dave Mishkin the radio pop. Hopefully he meshes well
