I never liked the oilers switch from blue to orange but this could work well as an away jersey for that combo should they choose.

I think the Avs/canes jerseys look great but I’ve always believed that the logo/names/jersey’s of defunct teams should stay with the city rather than the franchise. For example it would have been ridiculous for Arizona to come out with an original Jets jersey, at least in my opinion.

I find that the reason why many of these old logos have come back into style or the cartoony looking ones are more popular are because the only people that liked them when they came out were kids and now those kids are adults with social media platforms and money to spend.

Personally I’ve always been indifferent about blasty and never liked the old Florida logo or other similar ideas because they seemed like a generic cartoon you get as an option for creating your own team on chel or something you would find in Walmart.

Nice job Sean. For the Rangers, would have loved for the jerseys to have the red lower part of the sleeve, like the original. Same with the silver.

I like Blasty but wish they had gotten a little more creative with the colour scheme.

Not a fan of the original royal blue? That's odd.

In this case, I'm curious how you would feel about a colour-swapped version of the current home? Dark blue main with orange on the shoulders.

I’m not a fan of the Orange and Blue combinations ....they are both kinda gross colours, IMO. I never really liked them in the 80’s either.
Plus, nothing is classic anymore when they change as often as they do. Dumb cash grabs and the lemmings line up with a fist full of cash every couple years like clockwork.

I think so. I have a Smytty one from the summer of ‘06 with the SCF, WCC patch on the shoulder

Hmm, gotta disagree but that's fine. I'd be keen on one like these becoming the more permanent fixture. A mix of two different generations of Oilers jersey.

Honestly, (frank) the orange/blue combo. The current orange jerseys look like construction vests.

I think a gold (or dark gold) with navy blue would go damn well (with an exterior white border around the logo itself).

Also, involving gold into the logo makes far more sense than orange.

Crude Oil is known as black gold. So background wise, it makes sense.

Make the colour scheme navy blue, gold (or dark gold), and white. Perhaps some black (or dark grey) can be thrown in there too.

Primary: navy blue background, white/gold trim, and the revised logo

Away: white background, gold/black (or dark grey) trim, and the revised logo

Alternate jerseys could involve a black background (or dark grey), gold/white trim, and a modern revision of this:

Would look damn good.

Still think the orange can be changed.

Fairly certain we can all agree that the current orange jerseys look like construction vests, no?

Way too much orange in those new ones. They need to bring back the third jersey from 2006.

Agreed!

Loved the third jerseys from 2006. Had a nice design to them!
