I actually do think that is brilliant writing. The fact you don't immediately recognize it as satire on the league's policy of calling everything either an upper or lower body injury concerns me a bit though.

Right, because it’s smart to tell the other teams exactly where one of your players is hurt. Don’t get me wrong, most times it’s pretty obvious what they hurt, but to voluntarily give that information is idiotic.
