And I got my answer. Pateryn has surgery, so that knocks him out for a while. I really think Soucy was kept over Belpedio because they want LB is a bigger part of future plans with the Wild than CS is. And Soucy will get to sit in the pressbox and threaten Rask into learning how to skate. As a UMD Bulldog fan, I pretty happy to see Soucy make the Wild opening roster. But I also know he has limitations and that Belpedio might be smaller, but has more skill. |
