Guentzel is absolutely not replaceable. No I don’t care to hear your overly specific argument about some random guy that played 60 games for the flyers 10 years ago.
- Feds91Stammer

Why? You don't think that a guy like Landeskog, who was reportedly available last summer, or a guy like Hoffman, who was available early last season, would be able to replace him?

Are they going to be able to afford Point too??

No I don’t think landeskogs 17 5v5 goals or Hoffman’s 15 5v5 goals could replace Guentzels 31. Maybe you meant combined they could replace him.

Tarantino movies were cool when i was like 19 and in college. I aint got time to watch people talk for 3 hrs about nothing related to the plot.

Fight Club was cool at that age too. Re watch it now and its just 1 big massive contradiction of itself.

- sammy87

Well I hope I’m as cool as you when I grow up.

To me the scene in True Romance between Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper is maybe the greatest scene in all of movies.

Tarantino is by far my favorite director. My least favorites of his are Hateful Eight and Django. I love the first half of Django and then for some reason is loses me until the very end.

Of the ones he directed, Inglorious Basterds is my favorite followed by Pulp Fiction.

"I haven't killed anybody since 1984" That is an incredible scene

Hateful Eight was the only Tarantino movie I got bored with and never finished. Deathproof was pretty average too, entertaining but I never need to watch it again haha.
- j.boyd919

I’m a sucker for he western genre and even though Hateful 8 wasn’t too much of a traditional western, I still enjoyed it a lot. It’s tough for me to be overly critical of it because even though it’s my least favorite Tarantino, the worst Tarantino is still probably a top 100 film for me. But there is a massive gap between Hateful 8 and Jackie Brown/Kill Bill. I don’t even count Deathproof because the entire thing is an homage.

Also my stupid fingers accidentally reported your comment, so sorry if you get banned.

Fight Club and The Matrix have been appropriated by 14 year old edge lord red pillers who think the philosophy of those movies are some deep triumph of truth. It has certainly diminished my enjoyment of what are otherwise great films.

When I heard Tarantino explain part of the premise of Hateful 8 it kind of changed my perspective. It was based on older westerns where some stranger would come to town and you never knew whether or not to trust them, so this film was basically comprised of all characters like that.

Just FYI Addison is supposedly on the top pair for team Canada. Just saw a prospects analyst mention he could be scary good for Canada

So there is no single player in the league that could replace Guentzel? He is the best player in the league at his position?

Vasilevskiy with the huge payday...9.5 per wowzers...

Whats Murray going to get?

- MattStrat

I don't think it will have too much impact. Goalies getting that much money are more exceptions rather than the rule. Price, Hank, Bobs and Vas. It never seems to work out well either.

I'm expecting a $6.5Mish payday for Murray over eight years.

Edge lords are people who think it’s cool to be over the top edgy.

Red pill is basically the right wing version of woke. People who think they know the dark truth of how the world really works and are usually into conspiracy theories. Takes its name from the matrix and Morpheus’ red pill/blue pill.

I enjoyed Fight Club but always thought it was overrated from the first time I saw it. Great movie but not in my personal top 10 like some have it.

Goodfellas
Shawshank Redemption
City of God
Saving Private Ryan
Pulp Fiction
Back to the Future
Once Upon a Time in America
Spirited Away
Snatch
Dumb and Dumber

Probably my top 10.. but (frank) that’s hard...
Heat
Toy Story
A Beautiful Mind
Forest Gump
Silence of the Lambs
Leon
Usual Suspects
Full Metal Jacket

A top 10 is hard hahaha

A top 10 list without The Evil Dead (and/or Evil Dead II) is a top 10 list not worth having.

Edging is when you’re jerking it and as you feel like you’re about to bust, you stop chill out and let it simmer down. Then start back up. And get to the edge. Then simmer down. And repeat the process over and over until you become a lord at it. Lots of time spent at the computer.

Picking a favorite of all time hard enough. I can't do a top ten or even a top twenty. I think it's more by style of movie.

Some of my favorites aside from the Tarantino films:

Godfather saga
Goodfellas
Quiz Show
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Silence of the Lambs
Ordinary People
The Last Samurai
Falling Down
Full Metal Jacket
Poltergeist
Galaxy Quest
Die Hard
Field of Dreams
Training Day
The Dark Knight

If we're just going to measure a player's value based on 5v5 goals scorer, how does Jeff Skinner stack up? I can't find his 5v5, just his EVS.

Also, if you want to talk about a player who is truly irreplaceable, he would have to be the best player in the league at his position. Otherwise, there is someone better who could potentially replace him.

Edit: Or has to be a franchise cornerstone (Ovechkin, Crosby, etc.).

I don’t even know what my top ten would like like. I’ve seen too many movies. It’d be easier for me to pick directors.
