Doubt it, I don't mind Hath in his PK role - just don't make the mistake of paying him Bouma money to do it.

Another doom and gloom blog. Look at the 2 rosters, islanders doing it with smoke and mirrors. |

There's pretty much no chance the Flames are looking at goalies right now unless they've completely given up on Rittich. If there were serious questions about the state of the goalies within the organization, Rittich would be playing tonight.

I’m sure they’re looking at all options throughout the lineup...whether they find a good fit or not is another question. |

How's my favourite monkey doing?
Its good to hear that Stone is back and practicing, almost like making a trade since he's missed 35 games. |

Rittich has exceeded all expectations this season and has nothing to prove. Smith is the one who has to prove he's still capable. |

Smith has done more than enough since the start of January. It doesn't make sense to give up even more assets considering what they've already given up for goalies. If they had made the decision that Rittich was their goalie and Smith had to prove himself, Rittich would be starting tonight. He's been sitting for way too long to think that the Flames are 100% behind him.
It's pretty clear that they just going to stick with what they have and play whoever's playing better.

I think it's more of a case of getting Smith his mojo back. We're a better team with 2 goalies playing well. Rittich has proven all year that he's a capable goalie, if not for him, Flames aren't sitting #1 in the west. Smith picking up his game makes it much easier at the trade deadline. |

With any luck Smith will get his mojo back, I remember when the last time the Penguins won the Cup, Fleury was playing terrible and Murray came in and saved the day. I think if we can get some solid goaltending in the playoffs we can do some damage. |

Glad to see Stone and Vali getting ready to play - with Prout, pretty comfortable in the depth of the D right now.
Guy on the fan on the way home was suggesting Vegas would be in the market for a Neal type for the playoffs... We have one of those...
NHL 19 trades:
Neal+ for Hague or Whitecloud
Flip the prospect to Ott as part of a package for Stone
Send Frolik (+?) packing for Bjorkstrand in Columbus
Have a little chat with Mr. Chayka to sway Crouse out of Arizona
Johnny Mony Lindy
Chucky Backs Stone
Benny Janko Bjork
Crouse Ryan Hath/AM/Czar
Stanley Cup win when I interrupt Game 7 of each playoff round down by 2 goals with 5 minutes to go and Johnny and Mony make hard wrist shots from the slot, top blocker side in every game
Ken King signs me to a 5 year, $2.49M extension
I buy Iggy's old house and invite Rhettro over for nachos.
Where's my beer? |

Flames need to play like that every period. If it weren’t for that one bad shift with the 4th line and Anderssen giveaway the isles would have had no shots on net |
