Bill, assuming there are no significant trades, who do you see as the youngsters with legitimate chances to make the opening night roster? |

Bill is there any reason in particular that the Flyers don’t participate in one of these rookie round robin tournaments that are so prevalent now. Seems like it would be good for fan interest if nothing else. |

Foerster and Zamula (no longer waiver exempt), with Andrae a possibility if he has a great camp. Others -- Brink, Desnoyers, Attard -- will get a look but most likely start the season in Lehigh Valley. |

Hexy/Sarge and then Fletcher/Flahr weren't big fans of those multi-team tourneys like Traverse City. Hexy actually removed the Flyers from ANY rookie games for a year or two, then relented to do a one game thing. The last couple years, they've done two games on B2B days. |

Thanks Bill, A little surprised to hear that because Fletcher’s Wild teams always went to Travers City and Hextal had the Pens going to Buffalo. We get 4 NHL teams at our local ECHL arena in Florida and it’s a good time for fans that are hungry for hockey this time of year. |

I don’t think the roster will be any shock. Yes they’ll likely add a young guy to the roster in name but the chances of (let’s say Zamula) sticking all season is doubtful. |

Are we looking at a lost year for Michkov? How many games does the KHL season play? |

Wonder how long the "I'm the boss and you'd better learn it" garbage is going to continue with that egomaniac sitting MM every night. KHL is a joke.

I guess we can’t say we didn’t know what we signed up for. Pretty ridiculous. Best player in pre season but can’t crack the lineup 🧐 |

Yeah for sure. It's unfortunate he's not out there playing but at least we can say with some assurance it's not from a lack of skill. |

Any word on when or if the 2018 Canada team saga will be revealed? If the players involved are to be punished/ suspended I hope it happens soon. It’s been 4-5 years since it happened this makes me think the coverup is continuing. I would think it would be better to release the news and let the players who were involved accept their public humiliation for their actions and let the player who were not involved be able to clear their names. This is if the investigation is complete and all of the facts are in.
The longer this goes on the more it smells more like covering up by delaying this news. Unless they are taking the Black Hawk approach. I hope not, I still like hockey but this covering up for sexual abuse across several sports seems to be ongoing.
If the people running the sports will not hold their employees accountable then we should hold them accountable for allowing the actions to continue. If they don’t don’t then they are part of the problem. |

Exactly the reason Chicago shouldn't have had a no1 pick for 3 to 5 years. Ari & NJ both lost no1 picks and chicago got nothing from the nhl. Such BS, the owner says i had no idea this was going on so they give them a pass, but what i dont understand is this, if you own something you are responsible for what you own. I dont give a shiit about not knowing, and the result is they get the best prospect in the last 5 years. |

I would like to see Brink for sure on the third line, and attard comes up the second staal or walker gets traded.
Honestly think allison and Lyz are done, either they get moved or sent down. |

Bill Meltzer: Quick Hits: Camp Countdown, prospect updates, TIFH - bmeltzer
Just dawned on me that the STMs Meet the Team Event was waaaaay earlier than ever before... coming even before the Rookies Camp... WTH?!?!. I sure hope they don't bog down the Groupings with a boatload of never-to-bes, spreading out the players, and messing up the autographs. Wonder why this was done; maybe to lighten the workload schedule during the season. Not really into Hockey feel quite yet... with Phillies stretch, and Birds Opener... and Flyers Camp not even started; it is what it is, I suppose. |

Something like that going on and you don't know about it. You're asleep at the wheel. Doesn't let you off the hook.

I am trying to put next years line up together and man we are a mess at defense. I am going off the board and making the team I want to ice.
lw center rw
Tippett Coots TK
Farabee Cates Foerster
Atkinson Frost Brink
ND Laughton Hathaway
LD RD
Sanheim Risto
York Attard
Andrae Grans
G
Hart
Ersson
Here's my reasoning, Allison , Lyz have been given opportunities but haven't produced and stayed healthy. RP is the extra forward with Desnoyers & Lyksell first call ups.
On D I use seeler/staal/walker in rotation until deadline, and zamula i trade or send down, I was hoping after years Zamula would have muscle and weight but he is what he is I guess. Injury proned Defenseman with upside. |

Just wondering, how many games will Ryan Leonard be a healthy scratch this year at Boston College? |
