i don't really care. i know they're bad enough that they're going to lose 75% of their games anyway. but if they're gonna win, i like when it's driven by an impact performance from a young guy. like, i don't want to see a 5-4 win keyed by a Mike Hoffman hat trick.

Friday my friend...last real work day until 2022. Football on Saturday and Sunday (plus 9ers are the Thursday nighter on the 23rd so it won't disrupt Christmas to watch them). New epi of Wheel of Time. Season 2 of the Witcher. A few new bottles of craft booze delivered this morning. Not a bad day at all |

The sooner people recognize the difference between sports and sports entertainment (which is what pro sports are - sports entertainment) the easier it is to accept the lack of "fairness" that pops up time to time. It's about money at all times...fairness and even competition come second at best |

Yeah I think I can agree with that.
Episodes 1-6 were all affected pretty bad by the Covid shutdown, 7 and 8 were filmed after and I expect are going to look and feel a lot better.
Looking forward to Witcher Season 2. The way the timelines from season 1 all clicked together eventually was really cool. |
