Karine Hains: Game 30: Loss in Pittsburgh Just the Tip of the Iceberg The Habs played a pretty good first period but still trailed at the end of it and ultimately, that’s how it was all night, final score: 5-2 Pittsburgh.

Yup.

But, he should step up and say, he’s being playing like poop too..

exactly, it's not like Petry is carrying the team on his shoulders or whatever, far from it (it's basically the opposite at times...)

Trading for some additional draft picks and going for the #1 overall pick might prove to be a really popular move among Montreal fans. Good fans can be remarkably patient if they are able to understand what management is trying to do through a rebuild. And. Montreal has great, hockey smart fans.

Don't worry. Flyers blew their load in scoring against NJ tonight (and they also lost another key player in Frost to injury early in the game) so they'll revert back to their scoring drought on Thurs, and all your guys will have to do is get 1 or 2 to seal the win.

The old thread has seen the #petry4norris campaign become the #petry4a2nd campaign

let's not go too far here. he was excellent the past few years. this season though, I don't know why, he's not there. there is obviously something wrong between him and the coach.

Yes fido, but there was always one or two brain farts in game, where I thought wtf was that?

And I shared that, now it’s just happening almost every shift.

I think you see Petry the same way you see a ref, you'll only notice him when he makes a mistake...

I remember when there was rumours that Bergeron was gonna trade for him.

And I was against it, then he did and that (frank)er chose #26.

I got bugged a lot.

He had a decent playoffs, got a contract, and I’ve always said the wires aren’t quite connected properly, like there’s an arc every now and then.

It’s more now than then..

well yeah, I like the guy but he isn't playing the same way he was for sure, I mean it ain't even close, he looks completely lost and very tired all the time.

Nice to see Ylonen get on the board.

Hope the kids get more ice time moving forward, cause the vets are doing (frank) all. Pretty sure the Laval Rocket roster in October could have won 6 games by now too... or close to it.

If you don’t remember a couple of games a go I did post that I felt sorry for the guy because he looked like he was playing hurt.

There was no other explanation..

I have a feeling that Gorton decision to keep Ducharme as head coach for the season more or less secures our 1st round pick in the top 10 of the draft, so that we give Carolina most likely late 1st to the Coyotes instead for the Dvorak trade. Don't really expect DD to survive beyond this season though, the guy looks completely clueless and without an once of charisma in him, Michel Therrien looks like Patrick Roy next to him

I get what you're saying, but at the same time since the beginning of the season he's been part of the problem more than the solution, and as a vet you're expecting him to lead the way by example to some extent, which he's been completely unable to do. it isn't like he started off good and got discouraged after a few games...
