The only good thing about getting Henrique is with that cap hit you may not have to give up a 1st to get him. It would be counterproductive for Guerin to acquire him. Whether it’s Henrique or Hartman at center it doesn’t move the needle.

Tanev being injury prone is blown out of proportion.
In 4 years as a Flames he's missed 20 games.
2020-21 56 GP ( 2020-21 was a 56 game season)
2021-22 82 GP
2022-23 65 GP (missed 17 games with a shoulder injury)
2023-24 55 GP (missed 3 games after taking a shot in the face)
While im not saying he's an iron man he's not exactly made of glass. |

So New Jersey is in on Markstrom, but also Tanev, and also Henrique. And yesterday it was mentioned that Frank Vatrano is someone New Jersey is in on. I'd say if they can add 3 of those 4 players they become a top contender. I haven't looked at their cap space, but maybe they are in the same vicinity as Philly?
Also, Chris Tanev is 4th on the Flames blueline in minutes per game. But just because he is a #4 in Calgary doesn't mean he wouldn't be a top pair guy on a true contender.
