Need to adjust the "system". Everyone knows about filling the bumper, where/how passes are going, blah blah blah. So what's the back-up system? Where's OUR adjustment? The Army calls it "Branches and Sequels"....secondary actions after 1st contact (much involved in that definition, but keeping it simple for the allegory...). Once you're discovered by the enemy, you must adjust. What's been the Wing's systematic adjustment? Needs to happen or we're sunk.

Kane....I dunno what to think. Could we use hime? Yes. Does he want to play for a currently floundering DRW club? Right now, I'd say doubtful.

Why is Larkin leading the Wings in PIM? That tells me he's either overly fruatrated (likelyy) or he's being targeted (likely). The Cat's litter box needs to be cleaned..... There is much-needed change within this team and the system. If we look closely, this is an improved team, but old, bad habits are showing back up. Someone needs to step up and take the lead or the nice start will be a very distant memory. We have a decent mixture of players, just need some changes.

Dome disturbing trends are returning each and every game.... opening the season the players supported each other in transition and coming out of their end was fluid, as was zone entry...now the d, not all, seemingly throw the puck around the boards or simply get it out of their end without attempting to make a play.... zone entry is becoming dump, dump, and chase.... the teamwork is floundering and chemistry looks horrible..... question is what is coach doing about it, what are the players doing...not responding..... they look nothing like the team that opened the season.... no excitement or urgency to win..

Trade off one our floundering LD and bring up Eddy. Sign Kane or go for a scoring winger like Konecny. Hell, maybe the flames retain big bucks on Kadri or Hubbie-do? It should be considered. A shake-up is necessary to get this team outta their funk! Better sooner than later.

I felt bad about that one for a minute. I somehow got past it!

It’s not panic time. We have some really good games behind us. We would have all taken this start, given the hypothetical option at the beginning of the year.

I think we are going to see Reimer in goal, and as long as he has the hot hand, he should play. I think HUSSO is a good (not great) goalie, but he needs to work his way out of this funk. Just looks soft in there.

Didn’t love the benching of Ghost last night. I not trying to second guess coach, but I would have reduced his minutes before I sat him. He is a legit scoring threat on the PP.

Love the Compher/Copp line. Not sure if JV stays with it, but it’s cool to see chemistry forming on the team. I honestly think we should pick up Kane and have Raymond on that second line. There are a lot of articles saying most athletes don’t come back from this particular hip surgery. Hoping the best for Kane. I’ve never been a huge fan of his, but you hope the best for the guy. And a heathy Kane on a line with Cat and Larks would be killer.

I watched parts of some hip resurfacing and even ball joint replacement. First, don’t eat if you’re going to. But, the objective is eradicating daily pain. The type of strain skating puts on those flexors, joints and tendons really aren’t in line with what the surgery provides. It’s a bit like spinal fusion. It can alleviate certain issues but can create new ones. Eichel smartly opted out.

I think Raymond would find more success off the top line. Personal opinion. It’s the replacement where things get tricky. Perron can do a lot in terms of battles and net front but may have lost a step.

Agree on Ghost. We have a good offensive Dman there, but defense is lacking. I don’t have the answer. A couple of interviews and rumors suggest that Calgary has done the “ if Hanifin/Lindholm or others were available, what would be the return” calls. Hanifin was apparently close to signing an extension but it went south.

Definitely not panic time, but I think we’re getting a better idea of what we have. Still want to see Mazur after he’s had 20 GR games. Love Eddy’s skating, but decision making w puck not always great
