I'd rest him if there is any chance he's fighting effects of the slam to the boards.... 1 game vs many........ much as I'd love to see him in against New York, you can bet that dbag Trouba would like to take a shot at him if he's already hurting....

I’d rest him too. But we all know he will play unless he absolutely can’t

I’m all in favor of rolling with Reimer until he needs a break.

I forget who was posting the other day about Wallman, but I have to agree. He has exceeded expectations. I was a doubter that he was a top pair d with Seider, but it’s looking like he is rapidly growing into that slot, and deserving it with all the dimensions he brings. What an awesome surprise this year.

When a guy like Tkatchuk plays the SFC with a broken sternum, it's impressive. I've seen guys play rugby (and have done it myself many times) with a separated shoulder, broken ribs/fingers/nose....The Wings aren't in a situation where Larkin playing tomorrow vaults them into the SCF, forget it, sit him. Full stop. Dedication to the team is admirable, but there's no true gain to be had by worsening the injury causing him to miss extended game time. To me, it's not even a point of discussion....

Anderson's down with a clotting issue, could be career-ending, which sucks. Get Lyon down for a stint, maybe resulting in a trade for a RD from the 'Canes.....who knows. Hate to see Anderson's issue, he's a good dude. I want to see Lyon get game time....GR would be a really good option, for sure, just wanna see what he can do and maybe result in a decent return via trade.

Canes already brought in Halak on a PTO who has way more upside than Lyon.

Can Halak see regular game action on a PTO? I don't think so, just practice with them and pre-season games, but wanted it clarified.

He has to be on an SPC to play in an NHL game. It’s basically a practice squad designation.

Welp….there goes my brilliant plan! And yes, Halak is waaaaay better a move that Lyon. I’d think as the season drags on, Lyon gets game time in GR and proves his worth (whatever that may be…), a move could be made if Hutch is indeed the long-term solution. I’m assuming Hutch can be signed in GR from his PTO….but you know WAY more about that than I….

As I understand it AHL PTOs are basically 25-game AHL contracts (which can be terminated at any time). Once the PTO is done the player is a free agent and can sign another PTO or a full contract with any team.

The Oil could waive Campbell and trade for a goalie that is on a $1M contract, which could be an improvement on Campbell.

Actually the Oil could wave Campell and send him down to Bakersfield and bring up Rodrigue. He is only 23 and very raw, but the Oil could be that desperate.
