Let them have "UNSUSSTAINABLE" stats until December, please!

Raymond looks like he's back at the top of his game... the goals will come. Right now he's really clicking and setting up Larkin and DeBrincat on that top line which has been dominate.

Yzerman's free agent signings are paying dividends right now. More size, speed, grit and skill. This team is scary fast now... and their transition game is proving to be a difference maker. We haven't seen a run-and-gun offense like this in quite a few years.

This is a completely different lineup from last year and you can feel something is different (in a good way). Let's just enjoy the ride for now... and hope they don't get hit by the injury bug (especially to their top players or Husso).

This is good. Really good. Is it sustainable? Probably not. Way too early to start talking of SCPO, and so forth. But this team? Their game? This is FUN!! This is a team that's gelled very quickly. The almost no-look passes, the hitting, the joy they show when someone else scores....this is FUN!

Sprong? This dude can bring some serious heat, even his wrister screams when it leaves his stick....and the dude can PASS. He's good. Maatta played a pretty physical game the past couple, I've not seen him play that way in quite a while. Veleno's finding his groove. Holl is starting to show some offensive savvy with is passing....and I'm not a Holl fan as y'all well know. Walman? Good Lord that guy can straight-up play.

The PP was seriously lacking tonight. We knew it wpuldn't last forever, but the past few games there's been a drop off. 9 shots isn't too bad, the shots are getting through but we have to find a way to pot a few because those goals make a serious difference; they demoralize a team and can put the offending team on its heals. So I'm kinda concerned about the ability to score on the PP. I'm not looking for a sustained 45%+ PP,but there needs to be a goal hit..... Something to keep an eye on, not freakin' out, but....

Yup, this is FUN! There's an entirely different energy across the fans, the team, even the broadcast teams are having fun. Lile I said, this isn't sustainable. But I damn sure am gonna enjoy the ride while it lasts!!!!

Obviously we are only 6 games in BUT loving what we are seeing! Totally agree with everything you said

Early yes, but the Wings have scored the most goals, the PP, having Wing players at the top of the stats….

DeBrincat clicking so quickly with Larkin and Raymond has us seeing a dangerous top line for the first time in years

Veleno is looking like he has definitely taken a huge step forward in his development

All of the off-season signings that were questioned or left some scratching their heads, or just “blah”, have so far shown Stevie does in fact know what he is doing. Size. Speed. Grit. Heart. Scoring across the board- the only player without a point is Kostin (now Berggren playing in his first game)

This team is definitely going in the right direction and are fun to watch

Who needs a pp goal when you can get 6 even strength goals?

The chemistry that is building on this team is something we have not seen in over a decade. If it keeps building and the team uses the preseason prognostications to drive them to deliver an FU to all the nonbelievers who knows we might see some playoff hockey this year. We have a good mix of players in their prime, young players pushing and season vets keeping everybody honest and pulling in the same direction. I love the 11/7 mix with Sider and Walman leading the way. The rest of the vets all know their roles and would rather win games than get more minutes.
