"Last night’s game was also further proof that if that first line isn’t producing, there just isn’t very much happening." - Karine

This is pretty much our situation on offense right now ... the bottom 3 lines are doing nothing.

Jonathan Drouin was playing his first game of the season last night and while it’s hard to have much of an impact on the 4th line, his stat line shows nothing but zeros, he couldn’t even manage a single shot on goal. I’ve been pretty patient with Drouin, but to be honest, my patience is now wearing pretty thin. To me, he’s not in this team’s plans anymore and playing him for showcasing purposes does very little in that sense. The way he’s performing is not raising his stock by any means.

it really didn't take any special psychic powers to predict that nothing too exciting would come out of a line with Drouin, Evans and Hoffman lol, but yeah I agree, he's kind of shooting himself in the foot with these lack-lustre performances, especially if he wants to generate interest from other teams, and show he still belongs in the NHL. perhaps he's still having repercussions from his recent injuries, and physically isn't as comfortable anymore as he thought he would be.

I think that ship has sailed already ... can't see another NHL team wanting to bring him onboard. If he can't earn a spot on the leagues last place team then there's only one way for him ... down.

It's Europe or the AHL for him next.

some people swear by it but it isn't my favorite. i get their latte.

their iced coffee stuff is always good for some reason though.

yeah I'm generally not a big fan of these sugar-packed coffee beverages, I don't necessarily hate how they taste but I get tired of them very quick.

bah, he's literally played one regular season game this year, he needs to step it up but it definitely isn't too late for him to get his poop together. anyway I know how you feel about the guy, so I'm not gonna try to convince you that there's still hope for him...

like the frozen drinks? i don't get any of the sugar ones. i get the regular hot mocha or the iced coffee with nothing else in it.

i go to wawa for my regular cup of coffee before i go to dunkin. wawa's latte is good too.

In case you haven't noticed, I'm not the only one who thinks he's useless.
I know you like to defend him but you have to get your blinders off.

oh that's fine, not trying to convince anyone either. I think it's still very early to jump to these conclusions but such is the nature of the beast in MTL I guess lol.

Well if they don’t beat the yotes next week they may not win again until that mid November run of east teams…

a mocha is just espresso and frothed milk. and an iced coffee is just coffee poured over ice. if you don't add sweetener at the little counter you're good on the iced coffee and the only sugar in a latte is a handful of grams of lactose from the milk.

I think it's more a case of no need to hit a guy when he's down. The horse is dead my friend, so stop beating it every day.

Oh and he's not the only one in that category with the Habs (Dadonov, Hoffman).

ahhh, I see. I guess I was "biased" because of the Tim's iced coffee, it's really sweet, and I don't think they serve a version of it that doesn't have a bunch of sugar.
