Finally, Renaud Lavoie states that the Canadiens are now down to 3 or 4 candidates for the general manager’s role and that he expects the process to be ramping up this week. Considering that Jeff Gorton had said he wanted to have someone in place by mid-January, that would make sense.


this sounds a bit like the opposite of what Lebrun was reporting, as pointed out by symba in the other thread:
