Come here Karine, Weber wants to have a few words with you.

I wonder if they will let us in limbo regarding Weber's status. I mean at this point he must have met with doctors and must have a pretty clear view of what is future as a player actually is.

I know Bergevin said he didn't expect him to play this season, but they didn't really make an official statement on it.

would naming another captain (obviously Gally lol) be the main reason behind asking Weber to retire? I know captaincy is definitely important in MTL but I'm not sure it would really prevent anyone from showing leadership in Shea's absence.

truthfully, he has done a fantastic job of growing the game. improving the owners(most) franchise valuations. multiple national TV contracts in the States and spreading the game to less traditional areas.

plus, i like the way he handles the jeers he gets and is a damn good sport about it.

but i get why people don't like him.
