What does San Jose have, their prospect pool is dry because of past transactions, only way Howson can be talking to Wilson is if Couture and a first are in this deal.

Edmonton was asking for the moon last year when it wanted to unload Hemsky at the deadline and found no takers, so the demands haven't changed one bit a year later as he is having his worst year let in a year in which he should shine (free agent year) and hasn't. Edmonton want to resign him when he has basically said with his play on the ice - I don't want to play in Edmonton anymore.

In my keeper league, a guy is repeatedly bothering me for Karlsson. He offered Toews (concussed) or Sharp straight up. They'd all be keepers. Also, Defensive and PP points are categories on top of G/A/Pts.

Oh crap, I thought you said "Toews AND Sharp....to me it was a no brainer.

Perhaps keep Karlsson then....a dman that produces like a forward it HUGE.

I always try to look at it this way...if a dman is scoring 60 points, that's worth a forward that tops 90+.

It's easier to pick up hot forwards then it is to find a high scoring dman.
