Sad to see them give up on Rundblad so soon, but the need for a second line center was deemed greater than developing another puck moving defenceman in Murray's mind I guess.

I love rundblad,s upside and was really excited about seeing him,but i trust BM this trade will work out .It would seem that ottawa,s entire management team wanted Turris The coach was in on it as well, BM didnt make this move half cocked he did his due dillagence by consulting his staff iam good with this move

Probably due to Paul McLean and his knowledge of the Western Conference. This could be one of those trades that benefits both teams.

I thought Rundblad was being overrated a bit in Ottawa personally. He was a nice prospect but he didn't look to have elite potential like some people seemed to think. I didn't even see any flashes of that level of play in any of the games I saw him in.

Turris has more upside in my opinion. Who knows who'll end up being the best player though. They're both really young.

You called it.

Turris is developing into a Legitimate #1 NHL Center, and Rundblad has not established himself yet as an everyday NHLer.

The irony is, between rundblad, turris, and the pieces of the other trade, duchene and the First round pick, it's reasonably likely out of all of That, it's the pick that ends up being the best player.
