They went from an overperforming year to an underperforming one. What team people think this really is generally is based on their level of optimism - NorthNuck
I wonder if injuries have anything to do with their successes and failures?
Yep, always has been a huge factor for one of the most well travelled teams in the league. At least this year they have 9 or 10 NHL-viable Dmen, and more forwards in Abby ready to jump in and help
Alvin shuffled his feet, Zadorov only wanted to be wanted. He was a rockstar in Vancouver providing the fans with something they’ve been missing for some time. Kane is a pos, won’t be long before PA is roasted for this signing. - K-man25
While I disagree with most of what you say, the piece about Kane is fact and it will only be a matter of time before he's driven out of his hometown. Some guys can't help who they are (think JT Miller in a different way).

He has a one year contract. Doubt he's gonna be driven out faster than that.
Flames need to find a way to be crappier than the Canucks!
It’s going to be tough, but I think they’re up for the challenge. Conroy needs to seek advice from Alvin, after all it is a copycat league.

Really? I’ve heard nothing but positive reviews out of Edmonton.
“To be frank with you, I didn't hear a lot of b*tching about Evander Kane from the other players. What I did hear was an appreciation that he could do things that's kind of a lost art in today's facets of the game.”

Regardless of what you think of him, he brings something this team is missing… a spine. Enough with the country club. Time to get back to being the most hated team in the league. I miss those days.

Thanks for firing up the excuses train. - Marwood
I mean, considering the injuries to our core players is slightly more relevant than blaming the ‘heart’ of certain players or rumours of ownership interference.

Did it mention Pouty's 2 year battle with tendinitis?

Stauffer is a bloated mouth piece and says whatever management wants him to say.

I don't hate the move, but along with a spine he brings a lot of dumb penalties. Nucks fans will have to accept that trade-off.
