I think you can understand why some fans are so disillusioned. The decades and decades of futility can't simply be ignored. Some fans just display their frustration through sarcasm.

I wonder if that would fit behind a plane?

I have to really question the times in which we live. Are there no more ethics, no more values or morals in every day life?
With regards to hockey, ( the other topics are for the political thread) there is a site called hockey daily that post just asinine proposals as if they have already happened, or as if the author is privy or connected to inside info. But the articles are pure bullpoop bordering on ludicrous.

He’s gone all in over at Hockey Hot Stove. Maybe his paid subscription to hockeybuzz wasn’t the best investment.

Is he still on the banned list? That's unfortunate, for a goalie he added value to the threads...I'm disappointed.

Sometimes I like to go to Puckpedia and read people's trades. A bunch of homers going back and forth, overvaluing every player on both sides of the deal

It's really easy these days to come to the conclusion people are out of touch with reality, or perhaps reality means different things to different people because different groups grew up with different realities?

Speaking strictly from a hockey perspective. Everything from building a team, to trade values, has changed significantly over the years, what used to be "the norm" is now probably out to lunch.

There's a little piece within him that will always cheer for the Canucks, it's unfortunately in his DNA, like the rest of us who grew up on the West Coast. But we're glad to have him on the CBJ train, where good things are happening.

What I've noticed in reading the posts in the short time I've been on here is the amount of flip-flopping. When the team is winning it's all about how great Coaching and management and even ownership are then when times are hard it all shifts. Part and partial to the whole process I guess of how winning and losing affects the fan bases.

Will the Canucks be the "worst" Canadian team his upcoming season, in terms of total points?

Canucks are going to win the division, Flyers will be league worst with Sabres.

The Flyers are an American team, as are the Sabres, this wasn't part of the question, but I completely understand where you're going with that response.

Honestly, I think the Canucks are going to be much better than anyone gives them credit for.

It's the Canucks, it's going to go one way or another. They will either be in the cellar or as Makita suggests, will win the division. Either one wouldn't surprise me.
