My bet is it'll be Bobby Mack and/or Nick Robertson, maybe even Cowan depending on how good of a top 6 winger it is.

That is crazy and will leave us barren of up and coming talent.

Will be interesting to see how this year plays out. We will not be able to replace ‘regular season’ Marner, at least this year. Toronto Media and Fans are taking heat for this as a Larry Murphy move but this all goes down to money. Marner is a Salary cap issue ultimately and a mismanagement issue… at least we got something in Roy. Right now our forward group doesn’t look like a champion. Who is our second line centre? JT? I love the guy, but he needs to push to line 3…

Comments are hilarious: everybody's been crying to blow up the core and have a more balanced forward group and now that Marner is gone, it's all doom and gloom.

Tree will add a top 6 through trade and we'll move some of the bottom 6 out throughout the summer.
