Brads coming back home. Welp. This doesn’t look to be happening. Rumored 6 year deal for Marchand is crazy |

Sure, both should be around $8M, but as much as you seem to want to, you can't ignore the fact that Ekblad was willing to sign a hometown discount to stay with his original team and not uproot his family.
Also, while they'll be tight this year, the cap is going up significantly each year going forward, and Bouchard's deal will get more and more palatable. |

I do t see the cap going that much. It’s been rumored to be going up significantly for the last 3 years, and hasn’t. Unless there is another expansion team coming in, or Bettman pulls a rabbit out of his hat w the next TV contract, it won’t make a big jump. I could be wrong, but the economic metrics aren’t there as I see it. |

Oilers have $20mil in two D-men that aren’t worth that! Now way Jose!! That’s more than the Norris Trophy winner gets, and neither of them is close!!
With respect to the other signings, it’s good to see guys put preference/family, ahead of money, I mean how much do they really need! Well except Marner, he needs/demands, every stinking dime! See ya Mitch, don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out! |

Cap is $95,500,000 for 2025-26 season, then rises to
$104,000,000 for the 2026-2027 season and then rises to
$113,500,000 for the 2027-28 season
These are not projections. They are fact now and will be in the new CBA.

Not arguing, but is there a link to this information? I haven’t seen it anywhere. Thanks!
