My list:

Nelson(Hershey) - That team is a wagon and they are developing players for the NHL. I would be curious to see him with a young Flyers team.

Pat Ferschweiler(WMU) - I don't care he is Jones boy. I like what he did with WMU. Again a guy who I think would work with a young team. Also he has prior NHL experience so not completely fresh like Carle.

Jay Woodcroft - He did well with EDM and I would be curious what he could do with the Flyers. See what he has learned off previous experience.

No... I want a young coach, not a retread with Torts ideology.

My prediction is that Sully ends up with the Rags and Tocchet ends up in Philly. I hope I'm wrong about Tocchet in Philly.

I’m fine with Tocchet. It’s not that important this team won’t be ready to win for years. So if brings discipline with more of an open door and less antics. Fine.

I'm hoping it's more like 3 years before they can be a real deal in the playoffs. Probably not favorites or anything, but just look at the Habs. Are they that much better than the Flyers? And they are giving the top team in the east all that they can handle. They have Suzuki, Caufield and Hutson. Then what? Oh, and Hutson had a pretty bad game last night. I just don't think Tocchet is a very good coach despite last season. I mean, take last season away and what has he done?

it is what the league wanted, everyone has a shot, even McDavid will age, look at the Avs with McK, then look at the Panthers, they built the better team, it reminds you team building is still the most important thing, yes you need high end talent, high end talent and team building trumps elite talent and lesser team building. Don't get me wrong, give me elite and team, but still need both. Now that call vs LA in OT for the Oil, maybe Elite, Eh team and the refs will get you a title

I actually was hoping that LA would win that game. It was 3-2 when I went to bed. I wasn't happy when I saw the end result. Was it a cheap call in OT? It figures if it was. I'm for LA cause the Flyers will get a higher pick and I really don't like Connie McDavid. Dude has the personality of a wet shoe. The only time he opens his mouth is to whine about something. What a drip.

Watching the Dallas/Avs and Tampa/Panthers just shows you how far away the Flyers are compared to those teams.

Agreed. The playoffs are much more physical and the Flyers don't have the talent or physicality to compete against the better teams. Hopefully this changes in the next couple years? I don't want to see Matvei's talent die on the vine like Giroux's did. DB says the rebuild has made an up turn. Maybe he will bring in some talent for Matvei to play with?

Andrei Vasilevskiy looks not so hot. Tampa is forward thinking organization. Wonder if they entertain moving him; no idea if has a NTC.

Flyers would probably be all over it.

he has 3 more years on his contract. $9.5 million a year with a modified NTC.

I don't think they would pay a goalie that much when they are in theory, rebuilding.

No way he would waive for the Flyers. I think they would as only 3 years left.

Well the GM said it is time to add not subtract.

As far as the draft (after they pick at 4), would really like them to use those 2 other 1sts to be able to move up and draft Mcqueen. Need to swing for the fences. He will be boom or bust. Lots of potential in that boom for me.
