He kick your puppy while you were out caddying for some Devils players during the first round?

That was a bogus call on the GI.

Some of the difference in penalties called is (2?) too many men calls, the unintentional high stick last night, and for removing an opposing players helmet. That’s four away from the differential right there (5 because one was double minor?)
Could it be possible that FL is carrying most of the play, with Boston chasing and trying to defend is going to lead to more calls against them?

Seeing such a storied franchise and many in their fanbase turn to blaming the refs is rather Leafy.

Absolutely a bogus call. He was driven into the goalie by the defender. Terrible call. Bruins lost because they didn’t come to play. Showed up too little too late

Which posts are you talking about when you say "many"?

Marchand got punched right on the chin. I didn’t see that last night, I was wondering why he was staggering a bit, probably concussed.

Haven't seen many blaming the refs for the Bruins lack of success.

Having said that - Bennett got away with a head-shot on Marchand - he punches him with the right fist that is holding the stick.

Marchand definitely took a sucker punch on the collision with Bennet but to be honest that wasn't the thing that decided the game.

Goaltender interference was a stupid call, changed the momentum a bit. But that by itself didn't call the game.

Florida has been better. Getting more dangerous chances, and balanced lines to take advantage of the slower lines of the Bruins.

If the bruins win this series, it will because they started shooting more, their star players show up, and pray the goaltending can stem the rise of dangerous chances. It doesn't look good.

That was about as dirty as you can get. I don’t understand how hockey ops can let that go.

Agreed.

Pasta and MacAvoy have not been having a good post season so far. Tehy need to be much better going forward.

The Bruins don't really have a lot of highend talent beyond Pastrnak and their goaltending, they just play a very good, tight, team game, but everyone does that in the playoffs. Except Toronto and Edmonton. I don't see them winning this series.

I’ll amend the “many” to “some”. I mean this blog mentioned it as if it’s an issue with Bs fans, and I’ve been on other sites where there are some Bs fans coming unglued over things refs have/haven’t called.

Punched? Or just put his fist up and let Marchand run in to it
It happened right in front of the bench and no one reacted to it at the time. Marchand didn’t say anything. No one went after Bennett afterwards. After the game with slomo it’s now an issue. If there was a clip with a clear view of him making contact maybe they would’ve taken supplementary action. Idk. It certainly looks like he tagged him, but I haven’t seen a clip where you can actually see his fist hitting him.

Well they are down 2-1 and the two losses have been lopsided... so it's not looking good for the Bruins.

Holy (frank) the stupid pop-ups make it almost impossible to interact on this sight on a mobile phone. FFS Ek tone it down.

Download the app “Ghostery Dawn” and look at HB on there. It blocks all the ads. Works great on iPhone and iPad anyway.

I will watch, just clicked on it, I see it’s that “tough call” channel. From previous videos of his that I have seen, He seems to go a bit overboard thinking everything is very heinous and suspendable. But I will give it a look.

Edit, nothing there I didn’t see previously. His description fits my conclusions about him. Bennett “drives his fist through his face and temple.” That makes it sound like Mike Tyson punched him, when Marchand’s speed is what provided any power to the hit. Bennett stuck his fist out, we all already knew that. If there were a clear view of fist actually hitting face (which it certainly seems like it did), they probably (coin flip) would’ve taken disciplinary action. And we have the benefit of using super slo-mo to dissect it all, it all happened very quickly. Did the League say anything more than just, “no further action to be taken”?

"Stuck his hand out"?
You can see Marchand's head jerk to the left (not back) just as the fist (with stick no less) comes across. He was basically out before he hit the boards.

But so long as you kept an open mind about it ...

All 3 games have been lopsided. Bruins aren't out of it but they certainly are behind the eightball. If the "stars" don't show up, they're toast.
Lohrei has been one of the best players and it looks like he is just playing his game and going on instinct but most others are overthinking.

“He was basically out before he hit the boards” ? He lost consciousness?

I said it certainly looked like he made contact. I also said if it was visible on tape they would’ve done something about it. I said stuck his fist out because it wasn’t like drew back and threw a punch and followed through on it. He jabbed and Marchand’s speed charging in is where all the force came from.
Likewise, it is good to see you are keeping an open mind about it

Bennett is a dirty @#$%^ who has perfected the art of injury.
