Merkulov is on another level right now in Providence. Another 2 goals and an assist last night. His 2-way play has grown leaps and bounds since last season. Guy is ready for a look IMO, and Bruins could certainly use a spark. Not sure why they’re being stubborn about this, he’s at very least earned a taste. Plus, with Poitras gone until after the holidays, Jimbo would have a new guy to bench and hold accountable for all of the team’s shortcomings.
