Zacha not traveling, just looked at transactions and looks like Boston recalled Jesper Boqvist. Not a bad choice, but wouldn’t have been my first. Merkulov all the way right now, guy is on fire offensively and not the liability he was last season defensively; he’s really improved that part of his game.

Will be interesting to see if Monty gives Poitras a bigger role. I suppose taking a shift in the 3rd period would be a start.

McAvoy reportedly out again as well.

I would go Poitras as he makes poop happen, but that’s me. Monty seems to be developing a bit of anti-Poitras sentiment, hope he gets away from that. Kid is going to be something (already is), let him work through it and gain the experience in the regular season.

Zboril waived today per Frank Serendipity, team reportedly doing it as a courtesy to him to see if there’s any interest and he can potentially get an opportunity elsewhere. Obvious that Bruins are done with him. He should be playing over Wotherspoon and Mitchell, IMO. Not sure why Bruins soured on him so much this season, I’ve definitely seen worse defenseman.

Hope someone nabs him and he gets a chance somewhere.
