"Forward Jesse Puljujarvi has joined the Penguins as a free agent tryout.

Defenseman P.O Joseph has been recalled from his conditioning loan to WBS (AHL)"

PO might be better than Graves....so far this season, anyway. Puljujarvi is another non finishing bottom 6 guy haha but who knows for sure, maybe something clicks for him with Pens... Not holding my breath, though...

I honestly think it was what most people in here spoke about before the trade was made. It was because we were boring to watch last year. He expected EK to bring some entertainment to this team.

Yet I must agree with you Grinder I personally would have brought in a bunch of Big Hitting Physical players. Entertainment isn't a one trick pony. If we are scoring goals, seeing monster hits, and maybe having a fight every few games (heck even every month). Then is entertaining. Don't get me wrong I love watching some amazing goals scored, but encouraging our players to play like the Harlem globe trotters is why we have our current problems.

I agree with this. I’ve loved ludvig. He can actually do his 3rd pair roll which is nice (low bar) he hits, will fight. And his KO was entertaining as all hell although I felt bad for him. His response to the KO was perfect as well. I would love to see a team built with skill and physicality. Zadarov on D. A bottom 6 full of players like doc with speed and forecheck but who puts the D into the boards. And if we’re lucky a top 6 who can do that.

I definitely am an advocate. I felt like he was like Kap with some size. I feel Sullivan will use him the same way sadly if he makes it to the big club.

Yep I remember the kap comparison haha. Doesn’t hurt to try him. I also would have claimed Liam Foudy

I would have been ok with that waiver claim. I think bringing anyone in to try and make a spark is the right move. I kinda feel like this is another Hextall situation where we need a shake up trade or heck a trade in general, but we probably won't see one until the deadline.

Foudy and pulj are former 1st rounders with some size. They also might just need to realize they aren’t big scoring threats like in the ohl and Finnish jr leagues. They need to adapt their game to bottom 6 roles. Might be a tough pill to swallow at their young ages but they might find success that way.
