What’s the timeframe on rakell? Yeah I think the illness might have affected/could still be affecting Malkin. That and even though he hasn’t scored rakell is a smart player and an actual top 6 winger so his play away from the puck could also been what had helped geno’s line click earlier in the year.

I also wonder how the defensive pairs might affect things. I recall ek being paired more with Geno the first couple weeks which could have helped him create more as well.

I mean he was -47 his last two years and a bit years in LA on some pretty bad teams. Definitely a pretty skewed stat.

The Pens are now 3rd in the NHL in save percentage and 7th in goals allowed per game, and the PP is near the bottom of the league ... it's dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria.

Almost as bad as EK last year. I’m lead to believe you have to turn +- over slather it up in Percentages, do a sacred Native dance around a fire under a full moon after killing a moose then blog about it for it to be meaningful in anyway.

Any word on Hathaway? It shouldn’t have even been a penalty but if you look at who got hurt for being lazy and who delivered the hit anything could happen. If anything reignites Pens Flyers it’s probably him. Hoping he’s in tomorrow.

My favorite Carter stat is that he has as many goals as our goalie. Carter better pick it up though he only has one more point than Jarry on the season….
