Apparently the Nucks gave the healthy scratch to Kuzmenko on Friday and he might have lost his spot on the top line with Petterson, as well as his spot on the top PP.
If theyre so unhappy with him, Id be more than happy to trade Kakko to them for Kuzmenko. |

The inimitable Sam Lafferty skated in Kuz’s spot and scored a goal |

Aec- How dare you suggest trading Kakko does kuzmenko play RW?
And Guerin seems to have carte blanche to do whatever he wants. He left these coaches he’s fired with 15 mill is it? In dead cap space ffs with Suter and Parise |

Jones held his own for the most part, but he’s best served as the 7th D. He’s probably allowed Drury to not have to worry about adding depth at some point, ala Mikkola/Braun tho (unless a significant injury happens).
I love Gus, but Fox should immediately go back to QBing PP1 once he’s back
I’m all for rotating guys games off down the stretch, and play Jones, to have them somewhat rested for the playoffs. Especially Lindgren and Trouba |

I don’t think Jones is a guy we want to be counting on come playoff time |

Please don't read this as being directed at you alone...
But, I have never felt comfortable with the trade underwhelming for underwhelming idea.
We have absolutely zero NEED to trade Kakko at the moment. Yes, his play has been abysmal. But, points are still flowing. We see tremendous upside in KK, potentially, and we know exactly what that game could look like and how it would fit here. Another team's prospect project is a whole new animal, with no guarantees, but certainty of wrinkles. I'd be surprised if he's moved before the deadline. At least by then they can say they honestly gave him every chance. Unless, we are not playing at all like we are now at some point. |

Meh. A bit alarmist perhaps. But honestly, I'm shocked he's playing, too! |

I think that’s what will save him, and to lesser extent Kane not coming. They’re playing to well to disrupt anything. Kakko just needs to put it together, it’s just taking far to long for it to happen |
