They weren’t good but a top 3 goalie sometimes needs to give the team juice when they don’t have it. This would’ve been an ideal game to have that. Not ideal or sustainable but expected at times with a player like Igor

I would have said no chance he comes back when the season started. But after seeing that report he wanted to come back to the rangers and the prospect of Kakko missing most of the season, I just don’t know now. Still unlikely but the rangers weren’t planning on a Kakko long term injury either. Should be interesting
