Can't wait until either of them aren't on the roster.
I mean, D1ickerson plating 4 minutes a game more than Donato is kinda cray cray if u ask. Not that Donato is any great shakes but he can at least win an occasional board battles. The next one d1ickerson wins will be the first i have seen |

When talking about a prospect coming in and contributing immediately, what does that mean to you?
What do you have to see from a prospect in the pipeline that would make you think he is more than a 3/4th liner? - Chunk
It means Mike Bossy like numbers - 53 goals or more 1st season and 9 consecutive 50+ goal seasons. Waiting 3 seasons for a goof like Guy Lafleur to mature into a real good NHL player is unacceptable these days. |

Bedard and Reichel on the same line tonight. - rickboardman
Listening to Tr Murray break down this new line as well as the identity of teams around the league
First of all Richelieu on this line means Foligno off the line. Yet Sabres are more a young skating team, sort of a blend with skating and toughness. High expectations with all the high talent level - of for the day we can match their talent! But missing boardwork from Foligno on top line maybe not so big a deal
This is hockey fights cancer night on Chicago’s docket, however, so I am glad the studio guy finished pregame chat covering the cancer issue in our lives as well as players and all connected to the team
You have to keep a positive attitude throughout the battle and Troy is so thankful he has hockey - a love of his life - so he can have that as a blessing to fill his time without always having cancer on his mind. It is great that the Blackhawks gave tribute ti kids with cancer. Moreover, to announce kids in remission- so there is hope - but we know not everyone overcomes
So we can offer prayers even our time
We can also help others in need during the holidays particularly but also all year long by handing out leftovers from Thanksgiving meal or the extra burger we bought at lunchtime
It is a blessing we have our health or at least are surviving even with any difficulties
It could be said it is a blessing too when the young kids filter in, are impactful and we start winning some games

With the game tonight barely half way through period one Buffalo Sabre Bensen has been impreesive. If KD had traded up for an earlier pick my two favorites were Bensen and the kid Yzerman drafted - is Danielson the name
Anyway, will not be disappointed when Moore arrives. Bet we have a good player in Moore and that speed!
Well Bensen has no goals in 7gp this season. Figures he pots one tonight |

Some of the defensive breakdowns are a bit frustrating.
I love it when we are creating offensive pressure and Murphy shoots a 50 mph shot from the blue line with no net front presence and the goalie easily gloves it to kill the offensive momentum. |

Thanks for setting me straight, hahaha
The losses suck for sure, but i can see a lot of good things on the ice, and it's coming from the younger players. Can you imagine if Bedard wasn't as good as advertised, or KK, Vlasic and Kaiser had to be sent down because they were in over their head. Phillips actually looking better and better.
Kurashev has been a nice surprise and Reichel has a lot of talent just needs those minutes
Soda to me looks just a split second slow on plays, the only way he can adjust to the speed of the NHL is getting those minutes. FWIW i think Soda has about the same save percentage as Mrazek had the past 2 years. - BetweenTheDots
Yes, I can imagine what yr 1 AFTER the total teardown would look like if the kids that are up were in over their heads. Who gets the credit for that???
IMO management gets the most credit. So so so so important to place players where they properly BELONG at the RIGHT time, not where you want them to be. ..... Exhibit A, Vlasic. IMO he could have hung on the big roster last yr and done ok but at what price? The price of him not having a full yr with all the prime Dman minutes down of the farm with the results being he woud not be nearly as developed as he is today. Credit KD and Crew.
I'm a Phillips guy. Posted maybe 2 yrs back maybe just maybe they have a kind of K'Andre Miller type. Big rangy skater, plays physical and adds 25-30 pts. Kid is on track and IMO could stay up the rest of the yr.
But, like Vlasic, would he be better off with all the prime Dman minutes down at RKF or 16:00 a night counting 2nd pairing PK minutes in the Bigs? .... For me, give the kid all those RKF minutes and assume he'll be better off for it just like Vlasic has.
IMO doesn't take a scout to see Vlasic's hands were much much better with the puck after the first preseason game this yr. Those big minute4s in the AHL mattered. |

Wow, BUF goal 2, Jones & Murphy behind the net at the same time, both come out on the left side, leaving Skinner alone on the opposite side.
Are the 2 vets the worst of the 6 defensemen? |

So glad Hall is off that line, he's really a shell of himself
Now just replace Hall with Kurashev on the first unit, same with Jones with Korchinski,
