It’s nice to see Laczynski staying healthy and producing. I still wonder if there’s still a chance for him back up on an NHL roster if not in Philly then somewhere else….there were nights where I thought he played some really solid games but he never seemed to be able to stay healthy enough to sustain it and grow. It’s also nice to see Tuomaala and Lycksell producing, hopefully that keeps up.

If Tortorella was much more self-aware that he used to be than he used to be, he wouldn't keep doing the same crap as he has always done.

By the way I listened to the press conference that you labeled fantastic. It was scary to listen to. Tortorella confirmed all the issues I have with him. How he is stuck in the stone ages both in terms of how to build a team and how to develop players. He also confirmed that the Flyers are not actually trying to rebuild. They're trying to win with a little bit of rebuilding on the side.

Ok, well the Flyers can be Buffalo and just play the kids and lose game after game, season after season (see the link I provided the other day titled a cautionary tale about tanking) or they can bring kids up into a standard of winning and they can learn to be professionals. I don't want to be Buffalo, I'm sorry, I don't! I would rather root for a team that has a chance and gets progressively better season over season!
